Don´t forget I solved the problem for g25 with the software mentioned above. Anything that works with win7 should be ok for win8 after all...

i tried to install the lgs510 software, but after i installed the .exe i cannot find the installation anywhere...sound odd, but i spend quiet some time on this yet...mh i am suffering.

i got me a new pc with Windows 8 and I cannot get my g25 get working with lfs, yet! if anybody has been able to get that Combo work PLEASE give us a hint how!!!

has anybody gotten lfs Windows 8 and logitech gotten to work all fine yet?

The Zone30 team is buisy with projectC.A.R.S a lot. Does not mean we dont like LFS any more. Just means we know every corner of LFS more or less and need some progress...

I have finally moved to C.A.R.S. and I can only say one thing about it:

Two patches a week!


It has a working netcode now and many tracks and cars. GREAT CARS! GREAT TRACKS!

but, oh, I need a faster computer and graphics...my framrate is only arround 22 with minimum resolution on a computer which frankly is great for lfs.

Concratulations! I have done the same 2005 and I am still here!

@col: TNX, it is only worth responding to responses that come as arguments in a discussion and are not hate-rant themselves!

Therefore I have to agree, that You have a point there with calling the reaction "pragmatic" and maybe even "mature" (Discussing maturity would be a big thread in a different forum ;-) ). But on the other hand it is quiet desperate as well. I am not pointing this out as some kind of hate-blalba against Devs or the cargame.nl managers. I am pointing it out as someone who feels that giving up authority on handling the sportive/juridical aspect of LFS racing is difficult, to say the least. Because that means that you make a DEAL with someone who wrackes the whole game, cracks the code and what so more, while you hand out bans for revenche fouls and stuff that go for months and months.

As someone who was troubled with pointless bans on the nl server and also years ago when that over-ambitios bannlist-thing was going I find Scawens beging the hacker to tell him how it´s done and bla bla so embarrising!!!

Instead of telling him, that as soon as his indentity is discovered he will be basically banned from LFS and any further developement from your feather FOR EVER instead would be the solidaric solution for a viviand sports-community.

It´s like with those oviously doped Olympic guys, where nobody knows how they do it, so we have to applaude them no matter what. Don´t do that Scawen, it is such a shame!!!

Everybody is regulated here with how to express themselfes and driving and many other aspects of regulation, and after all, when a real criminal (regarding to the LFS system) shows up You suggest he might PLEASE (:really show his trick to save you time [sic].

At least this call should be expressed as a LAST CHANCE to avoid a live time ban, so that at least the impression is kept up, that failing on the sportive and social behaviour that comes with onlinegaming as just another sport WILL be handeled as what it is: Behaviour that will be punished.

Rather should they cargame.nl guys make their statements true and just shut down their servers (on their own) als long (or as soon as) the guy shows up.

Everything else is absolutely hypocritic, isn`t?

I am onestly very impressed with the update from Scawen. Sounds very honest and that fits!

Strange enough: A very serious case of cheating triggers some communication that is worthy for the whole community: A PARADOX.

I also have come to a point where I know every corner of LFS.

I still don´t dream of warm icecream.

If I am missing something, it would be a bit more communication

between the DEFs and the community... also called public relations.

I have spend some time comparing LFS with other other games, and

found LFS is simply the BEST!

My theoretical wishlist is as long as it could be... of course!

BUT besides dreaming, I´d love to expirience at least the one car

that has been promised...mhh...

I allways stated that I was ready to also PAY (a little) for some addon

content... what else comes to my mind:

AHH...hahaha...when the last public annoucement on the lfs.net frontpage was made some commented on the tyre-physics graphics:

"One year ago those tyres even looked a little bit rounder!!"

I can still laught my brain out of my head about that one....

Well everybody is ready for S3... but some psychological effects have allready taken place... like booredom and desperation...

actually you are right with what you discribe:
Even in our team it was obvious many times, that newcomers and such drivers (like me) have never made it to the top three (lets say) got frustrated and left LFS for ever. People are used to winning, after all, from single player mode... There were and are beginner leagues and many possibilities of gaining experience online, but there is not guarantee one will ever get as fast as some freaks out there.
But: Often drivers are one trick ponys: The might be kings on As3 Gtr servers, for example, but hey, the would not spend a second or so on another combination...

If You are new to this game it will keep you buisy for years.

There is some development on the way as well...

Anyone who can afford it, should get a liscence. There´s no time to loose.

The only complain that comes to my mind is:

ALL THE OTHER DRIVERS ARE TOO FAST...
